Catch a glimpse of Central Europe's most fascinating and vibrant cities with the Taste of Central Europe Tour. Leaving from Paris, explore the Champagne region of Reims, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the historic German cities of Trier, Koblenz, Frankfurt, Bonn and Cologne. The bustling streets and canals of Amsterdam, the unique atmosphere of Brussels and best of the City of Light — Paris.

Your seven-day tour leaves from Paris, with a stop to visit France's Champagne region of Reims to see their historic cathedral, followed by a visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg highlights include: Place de Constitution and Pont Adolphe.

Next you’ll experience the best of Germany including the Karl Marz Haus Museum & Porta Nigra in Trier, the charming Römerberg plaza in Frankfurt, the birthplace of the renowned composer Ludwig van Beethoven in Bonn, with free time for sightseeing and shopping in Cologne.

Explore the Dutch heritage at the Zaanse Schans* open air museum and witness clogs or wooden shoes being made. Head to Amsterdam and visit the Dam Square and many of its other unique attractions such as the Royal Palace and a diamond factory.

In Brussels you'll see the Grand Place and the legendary Manneken Pis statue. Your last two days of this exciting tour will be spent in the City of Light: Paris, exploring their historical and iconic buildings, culture and lifestyle including Place de la Concorde, Champs Élysées, and the opulent Palace of Versailles (entrance ticket at your own expense). On Friday your Parisian experience begins with a visit to the Louvre (entrance ticket at your own expense), with the rest of the afternoon free at leisure, you can choose to either shop at the legendary department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, or make your own arrangements to visit and ascent to the top floor of the Eiffel Tower (entrance ticket at your own expense), for unbeatable views over the city, a truly magical and unforgettable experience to end your tour.

Day 1: Thursday - Depart for your overnight flight to Paris.

Day 2: Friday - Arrive Paris and proceed on your own to your hotel. Free day and evening to explore the city.

Day 3: Saturday - Paris - Reims - Luxembourg (B)
Enjoy France’s Champagne region of Reims, see the city’s historic cathedral. Your next destination is the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, highlights include the Pont Adolphe and Place de Constitution. Overnight in Luxembourg or nearby city

Day 4: Sunday - Luxembourg - Trier - Koblenz - Frankfurt (B)
Discovery of Germany begins in Trier, see Karl Marx Haus Museum, the cathedral and Porta Nigra. Travel to Koblenz, via Rüdesheim to Frankfurt am Main, explore the charming Römerberg plaza. Overnight in Frankfurt or nearby city

Day 5: Monday - Frankfurt - Bonn - Cologne - Amsterdam (B)
Stroll past Bonn's town hall and the renowned musician Ludwig van Beethoven house of birth. Next it’s on to Cologne to explore the Gothic cathedral and the best-loved shopping streets in Germany. Overnight in Amsterdam or nearby city

Day 6: Tuesday - Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Amsterdam (B)
Experience Dutch heritage at Zaanse Schans open air museum. See clogs or wooden shoes being made. Return to Amsterdam to visit Dam Square, the splendid Royal Palace and a diamond factory.

NOTE: From mid - March to mid - May the tour visits Keukenhof Garden (entrance ticket at your own expense), this replaces the visit to Zaanse Schans museum. Overnight in Amsterdam or nearby city

Day 7: Wednesday - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris (B)
Visiting Brussels the centre of the European Union, you’ll see the Atomium monument, City Hall, the Grand Place and the legendary Manneken Pis statue. Sample a delicious Belgian waffle along the way. Overnight in Paris or nearby city

Day 8: Thursday - Paris - Versailles - Paris (B)
Explore the breathtaking sights of Paris: Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe and Napoleon’s tomb at L’Hôtel National des Invalides. After you’ll visit the opulent Palace of Versailles (entrance ticket at your own expense). Overnight in Paris or nearby city

Day 9: Friday - Paris (B)
Today you’ll visit the Louvre art museum (entrance ticket at your own expense), see the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Afternoon free to visit Notre-Dame Cathedral or shop at department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Overnight in Paris or nearby city.

Day 10: Saturday - Proceed on your own to Paris airports for your return flight.
